Why Families and Adults in Berkhamsted Are Seeking a Private Autism Assessment

NHS waiting times for autism assessments in Hertfordshire can be lengthy, often stretching to two years or more. For children, that wait can mean years without the right support at school. For adults, it can mean a lifetime of unanswered questions about why the world has always felt a little harder to navigate.

A private autism assessment with Bloom Clinical offers:

  • A clear diagnostic pathway within weeks, not years
  • A rigorous, evidence-based assessment using recognised clinical tools including ADOS-2.
  • A comprehensive written report suitable for schools, universities, local authorities, and employers
  • A neurodiversity-affirming approach that focuses on understanding your or your child’s strengths and needs
  • An onward pathway to appropriate support, adjustments, and resources

Whether you are a parent noticing differences in how your child connects, communicates, or experiences the world, or an adult who has spent years wondering if autism might explain your experiences, you do not have to wait.
