Katie – Clinical Director and Cofounder
Katherine is the Clinical Director and cofounder of Bloom Clinical, bringing extensive expertise and leadership to the field of mental health and neurodevelopment. She is a highly specialist Consultant Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, Psychotherapist, Consultant Specialist Occupational Therapist, Trauma-Attachment Therapist, and an Advanced Mental Health Leader.
With a clinical focus on neurodivergence, sensory integration, and co-occurring trauma and attachment challenges, Katherine works across the lifespan—supporting children, adolescents, families, and adults. She adopts an integrative, evidence-informed approach tailored to meet individual needs. Katherine also serves as a clinical lead for specialist diagnostic assessment pathways and is the creator of the ‘Bloom Model’, a framework developed for training and professional workshops.
A sought-after speaker and trainer, Katherine regularly delivers keynote presentations and formal training. She provides strategic consultancy to organisations—particularly in enhancing neurodiversity awareness, inclusion in elite sports and workplace settings, and trauma-informed practice across education and corporate sectors.
Katherine’s career combines experience in education, clinical leadership, and mental health service transformation. She has held significant leadership roles within the NHS and third-sector organisations, and she specialises in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Sensory Integration, and Trauma-Informed Care.
